The Salesforce Analyst supports the Airlines & Fleets (A&F) Sales, Marketing and Customers team, plus supporting functions. This role is responsible for supporting the Salesforce CRM database for the A&F division, including system development, deployment and support. This includes, for example, task & project management, the generation of reports & dashboards, user training, strategic recommendations, new capability implementation, data clean-up, routine tasks, and executive administration support. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing.
CRM Strategy & Execution: Leads the overall strategy and execution for the A&F division’s utilization of Salesforce, including:
- Coordinating with stakeholders in the various A&F facilities to ensure that the divisions Salesforce architecture works seamlessly across the organization, capturing all required information while integrating successfully with associated IT systems.
- Plan for and maintain the currency of the database, coordinating with the companys specialist IT division and with third-party vendors as required.
- Coordinate with other divisions and with the companys corporate leadership to ensure that StandardAero secures the best value for money relating to its investment in the Salesforce platform, including via the achievement of cross-divisional volume savings.
- Ensuring that the data held within Salesforce is maintained at a suitably high level of accuracy, scrubbing the data as required and policing prescribed menu item lists to help combine data accuracy with ease of use.
- Supporting user requests for data, for example in support of targeted marketing campaigns and for strategic planning purposes.
- Works with the St. John’s IT team to develop specific user dashboards as required
- Providing regular reports to enable the divisions leadership and facilities management team to accurately track captured sales and customer demand versus induction capacity.
- Plan for and facilitate user training as required.
- Creating process documentation to facilitate process adoption.
- Supports marketing campaigns, events and social media marketing by working with Sales & Marketing teams to prepare activities, schedule meetings, selection of vendors and execution.
- Supports sales forecasting by recognizing past trends to predict future sales.
- Supports sales agreements generation, execution and tracking (contracts).
- Supports the Inside Sales & Bid Development teams with key pursuits & scheduling.
- Links with multiple internal support departments as necessary (i.e.: IT, Finance, Compliance, Legal, & Marketing).
- Assists with annual expense budgeting processes.
- Supports and drives key projects / initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Completion of related 4-year post-secondary education (i.e. Bachelor’s degree) or 5 years of directly relevant experience (Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, IT, etc.).
- Completion of a relevant masters degree (e.g. Masters in Business Analytics) is preferred, but not required
- Experience with sales/marketing computer information systems (i.e.: programming language), including Salesforce or a similar CRM tool. Salesforce Admin training completion is preferred, but not required.
- Aptitude for Dashboard creation, key performance indicators, and visual representations of metrics.
- Intermediate or advanced power user of MS Office Suite, focusing on MS Excel.
- Possesses strong aptitudes in the areas of attention to detail, analytical thinking, business acumen, and project management
- Experience working with a team of professionals, including remote / international.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
- Industry-related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of gas turbine engines is an asset.
