As a Charter Sales Advisor at Silver Air, you'll be the driving force in our competitive aviation sales environment. Your role involves aggressively pursuing sales targets, strategically navigating the aviation market, and forging strong client relationships. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring 1-3 days a week of commuting to Silver Air's Santa Barbara Headquarters. If the candidate is unble to relocate to Santa Barbara, they must be prepared to meet this commuting requirement.
What you'll be doing:
- Receive and process inbound quotes for wholesale customers.
- Lead robust sales initiatives to exceed targets.
- Develop lasting relationships with high-value clients.
- Strategically source and quote prospective charter flights through message boards and digital marketplaces.
- Work with flight support and maintenance to optimize fleet utilization.
- Conduct follow-up communication with customers once quotes have been sent out.
- Preserve confidentiality and privacy in high regard while working with our high-profile and celebrity clientele.
- Maintain charter quotes and sales volumes as determined by the department manager.
To do well in this role, you'll need:

High school diploma. Or equivalent.

4-year college degree. This is preferred.

Part 135 aviation experience. 3-5 years required.

Business to business (B2B) and technical sales experience. This is required.

CRM experience. This is required.

High motivation. With the ability to negotiate and sell effectively while building relationships. A solution-based attitude and the ability to problem-solve are crucial components of the role. The ideal incumbent will be able to effectively work with multiple stakeholders quickly to create a successful sales outcome. This role also requires the ability to learn software products and industry terminology swiftly.

Strong customer service skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) will need to be demonstrated with all levels of employees and clients. Communication must always be delivered with a superior level of professionalism. At least 5 years is preferred.

High level of detail. You'll need to be highly organized with the ability to thrive in changing environments and the flexibility for frequently changing priorities.

Excellent time management skills. You'll need to be able to work on an on-call basis, working well under pressure and multi-task. Silver Air is a 24/7 organization, so this role requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and Holidays.
