What are your contributions to the team?
In your role you will:
- Conduct production ground and flight tests for the purpose of validating the airworthiness of the aircraft.
- Conduct demonstration flights to potential customers.
- Conduct Customer Acceptance flights.
- Conduct Ferry flights.
- Carry out pre and post flight activities.
- May be required to support the week end schedule for extended periods.
- May be required to support the Bombardier Flight Test Center.
- May be required to carry out manual and other documentation review.
How to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate:
- Hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical.
- A minimum of: 3,500 hours of total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi engine aircraft.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and to travel on short notice.
- Previous flight test experience or a strong technical background in certification or training a definite asset.
- A US ATP is an asset.
- The right to work and live in Canada is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with a team.
- The ability to execute the duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with the crew and management.
- Managing stressful situations.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
