Technical Repair II
Huntsville, AL
Contract Position
$20.00-$24.00 / Hourly
Join a company specializing in high-security KVM switch technology that protects sensitive data across government and commercial sectors. This role involves working on secure access and data protection solutions that prevent cyber threats and secure critical information.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies.
- Perform hands-on tasks, including precision soldering, component repair, and circuit board fabrication.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies, complete rework on nonconforming parts, and document results in technical reports.
- Use equipment such as power supplies, digital multi-meters, and oscilloscopes to debug electro-mechanical assemblies and printed circuit boards.
- Read schematic drawings and translate them into printed wiring boards for repairs and testing.
- Collaborate with technical and engineering teams during troubleshooting and repair processes.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required.
- IPC Certifications and J-Standard 610 certification preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in circuit board/component repair.
- Completion of Safety, ESD, and Work Procedure Training.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to switch between tasks as needed.
