Duties and Responsibilities:
Our team utilizes technologies such as Power BI, Cognos, SAP BOBJ, BW, SharePoint, SQL, Oracle, SSIS, and ETL processes to help organize and relate data across the enterprise. Our team manages the administration and maintenance of these tools as well as supporting development. We offer user support across the enterprise for these technologies, assist users with self-service reporting, and also create departmental and executive dashboards in Power BI.
You will become familiar with different business areas, enterprise systems and technologies, and you have the opportunity to earn your Power BI Certification through Microsoft. Depending on your individual areas of interest, we can help you learn the administration and maintenance of these tools, development of reports (focusing on user experience and design), and technical user support.
This internship will start May/June 2025 and work through August/September 2025. The schedule will be determined by the manager.
Interviews for this position will start in November.
Education Requirements:
Basic understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL is required.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly to a non-technical audience is also required.
Must be enrolled and actively pursuing a bachelors degree and above in Computer Science, Economics, IS - Business Analytics Emphasis, IS, IT- Data Science, IT or related major.
Must graduate after August 2025. For summer 2025, we will accept spring 2025 graduates only if they have been accepted into a Masters/PhD program for fall 2025.
Must have at least a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Resumes without GPA will not be considered. Freshman, please list high school GPA. New graduate students include undergraduate GPA.
