Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer who will serve as SETA support for existing and emerging products in Product Manager Electronic Warfare Integration (PdM EWI) and will perform continuous management and review of cost, schedule, performance, and supportability of products as they transition through the acquisition life cycle from research, development, production, fielding and sustainment. The candidate will be a working and contributing member of the team, not simply a director of tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Coordinates procedures and processes relating to financial management, acquisition, implementation, distribution, and logistical support for hardware, software, supplies, and services required by projects.
- Assists in detailed planning for complex management projects, issues, and initiatives and provides support for risk analysis and tracking of cost, schedule, performance of projects.
- Analyzes and evaluates project development, progress and performance; reviews and monitors all critical project documents.
- Supports periodic reviews to determine status of overall project and major milestones; ensure coordination for orderly phasing of all actions and detect potential slippages in advance; identify potential increases in cost; and ascertain appropriate action required to maintain or improve project schedules.
- Plans, organizes, and evaluates work of participating members and organizations that have relationships to the project. Applies a broad knowledge of program management to accomplish the management and administration of assigned projects.
- Reviews program documentation and makes recommendations concerning long-range plans, policies, and schedules to improve the programmatic and technical effectiveness of the management team.
- Advises project management staff concerning program and financial management, engineering development, and logistics support of assigned projects.
- Conceives new approaches to various near term and long-range projects; provides guidance to activities supporting the project to ensure proper balance consistent with requirements and available resources.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Recent program/product manager or operations assignments supporting delivery of program of record or operational needs systems.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing acquisition program across lifecycle of requirements including but not limited to acquisition, finance, logistics, product support and services.
- Knowledge of acquisition life cycle, design reviews and critical milestones.
- Ability to work on multi-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proven verbal and written communications, and the ability to work on multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to self-start and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
Experience
- Minimum 10 Years experience in Army acquisition program management or operations
Clearance
- Currently Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Education
Desired Requirements
- Active TS with SCI eligibility is preferred.
- Familiarity with acquisition lifecycle management.
- DAWIA Certification.
- MS Degree
