Description: Lockheed Martins Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business, the leading provider and pioneer for superior weapon systems, sensors and services is seeking a Security Representative Senior / Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to join the Program Security team in Troy, AL.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Security Representative Senior / Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• All aspects of security to include, personnel, physical, technical, policy guidance research, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in the DoD 5205 Series, National Industrial Security Program, Operating Manual (NIPSOM), the NISPOM Overprint, ICD 705, and others as applicable
• Program briefings, presentations, completing Program Access Requests (PAR), classified meeting support, program management support, and security education.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troys climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small-town charm. Basic Qualifications:
This position requires applicants to have a Final Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last six years.
• Candidate must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance upon employment. This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs.
• Special Access Program (SAP) / Industrial Security experience.
• Basic computer skills, public speaking, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of DISS, SIMS, and personnel security clearances.
• Understanding and knowledge of DoD policies.
• Experience in Building and Maintaining tracking spreadsheets/databases.
• Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, work independently, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions.
**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
• Candidate must be a self-driven and results oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive and risk managed security recommendations, based on limited and or conflicting information, is also essential, as is the ability to thrive and build relationships both within the corporation and externally with our government customers and industry partners.
• Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required.
• Knowledge of JADE.
• Understanding knowledge of current DoD 5205 Manuals, NISPOM, and NISPOM Overprint.
• Advanced computer skills, public speaking, presentation, and communication skills.
• Managing and protecting COMSEC.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
