The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Security Adviser to support Boeing Defence Australia and their portfolio of programs and development activities for a range of customers. The role is based in Brisbane, QLD.
Responsibilities
- Support internal customers and Program Security Requirements, Responsibilities and Compliance.
- Manage the sharing of information, development of artefacts, incoming and outgoing visit requests, foreign release requests and customers security administration requirements across the program;
- Develop and deliver Security briefings and training;
- Provide protective security subject matter expertise to the program including the management of high security areas.
Experience/Qualifications
- Experience working as a Defence Security Specialist in a large Industry prime contractor or Government Security desirable;
- Detailed working knowledge of the Defence security practices and procedures specifically relating to high security locations and programs;
- Experience in Australian Government Classified Information management;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborative relationships with leaders and employees;
