Role Summary:
This is a dynamic position that will work closely with other departments to ensure the Company exceeds aviation industry safety standards. As the company’s resident expert on safety matters, you will interact with several teams and departments, supporting them in a variety of ways.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate SMS training
- Maintaining & disseminating relevant safety information
- Assist with the management of the Q-Pulse software
- Populate Q-Pulse software with safety related data
- Up-date Q-Pulse as part of the safety report investigative process
- Coordinate Emergency Response Plan activities and training
Must haves:
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with the Microsoft Platforms
- A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
- Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
- Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge/Experience of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS) an asset
- Course work of diploma in safety-related field
- Knowledge/Experience with the Occupational health and safety/Canada labour code
- Previous aviation experience
