Job Description
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating project deliverables of varying size and complexity. Furthermore, the Project Coordinators duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
This position will require immediate Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) security clearance, therefore only Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.
Major Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist the Program Manager in the drafting and issuance of Proposals, RFQs, budgets and preliminary schedules;
- Assist in project set-up in ERP system;
- Conduct Pre-Kick Off activities for each assigned project; such as, generating draft Project Charters, Stakeholder Registers, project organization and communication charts;
- Draft project schedules in preparation for the Project Management Plan;
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports;
- Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements;
- Monitor project plans, work hours and budget reports;
- Update project team regarding project information, status and issues that may impact client relations;
- Ensure client’s needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner;
- Perform other duties as required.

- Ability to work effectivity independently and also in a team based environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Education
- Diploma in Administration Project Management or other technical discipline
- PMP training designation is an asset
Experience
- 3-4 years’ experience providing administrative/organizational support and liaising with cross functional teams; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
