Position Summary
The Production Trainer conducts a variety of technical training for assembly and production operators on a verity of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly of pieces, parts, and components adhering to safety, quality and other company policies. Assists in developing a new training programs and/or methods of training. MUST be a US citizen.
Responsibilities
Training for a variety of basic and routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly of pieces, parts and components.
Understands and remains current on the standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular workstation.
Seeks input from others as well as relying on experience/judgment to plan and achieve training goals.
Provides input on appropriate delivery method for optimal results.
Adheres to all safety, quality and other company polices.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
A Secondary Certification/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in a related field.
2-4 years relevant experience.
SKILLS
Skilled in training methods and programs
Effective oral and written communication skills and detail oriented.
Ability to analyze and determine methods and procedures.
Able to use expertise in solving problems and making routine decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows software applications.
