WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Your role is to safely plan and manage your respective duties on aeromedicalevacuation flights, in close collaboration with the flight and ground crews.

More specifically, youwill:

• Carry out pre-flight inspections ofaircraft and check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure compliance withweight and balance specifications;
• Ensure thatall flight operations are carried out safely and in compliance with standards;
• Coordinate flight activities with ATC services, brief crew members onflight and checkout procedures, and direct crew members activities duringflight;
• Communicate with various stakeholders for variousauthorizations, instructions and needs;
• Carry out in-flight checks, monitor the operation of equipment andon-board systems, maintain contact with flight dispatchers and weatherforecasters, as well as report and respond to all in flight emergencies andmalfunctions;
• Maintain skills and participate actively in aviation related projects.

• Meet Transport Canadas French and English language proficiency standards ;
• Knowledge of technological tools (tablet, computer, etc.);
• Knowledge of software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Your career path ischaracterized by:

Captain technical skills:

ü Minimum 1,200 total flyinghours, including a minimum of 500 hours on turboprop aircraft (single- ormulti-engine);

ü Canadian ATPL or CPLrequired;

ü Instrument flightannotation group 1 or 3;

ü Saron and Samra exams completed;

Your assets prior to hiring:

• PC12 qualification and/or experience
• Minimum 500 hours PIC ;
• Great North on gravel strips experience.
