Job Description:
Mission
Supports the Foreman and the Head of Production.
- Manages WPS and work orders according production scheduling
- Supports the Production Pace Control (PPC)
- Based on daily work orders to be achieved, ensures the availability of the parts at the point of use (work order, pull flow, missing part, parasitic flow and outstanding work management) and keeps alignment between the system and the reality.
- Ensures the parts availability for the short term plan & manages closing of work orders (Components consumption) to enable quality conformity of the work order.
- Checks MRP results and manages work order (from Plan Order to WO Release).
Job Description
- Attends the daily Production monitoring meeting: reports on production progress, on parts availability and provides support to adjust daily priorities.
- Anticipates within a month timeframe the risk of coverage / parts availability with special focus within the forthcoming week, reporting about the already confirmed missing and the coverage risks, providing the consequent advice and impacts.
- Management of Work Order: WO from releasing to closing, Pull flow.
- Management of Components including missing parts and logistics distribution: potential availability, Transfer Protocol and unexpected Missing Part.
- Parasitic flow coordination with other departments: non conformity, over delivery, good issue error, loss of parts, cannibalizations.
- Coordination of outstanding works: Manage outstanding works logistics flows, Manage Work Order internal/external transfer of responsibility.
- Close collaboration with production to anticipate needs and avoid coverage issues.
- Focal point in the workshop for logistic distribution, triggering speed ups or animating litigations.
- KANBAN mgmt. monitoring, including obsolescence management.
- Booking for packaging on time.
- Management of the return flow to stock.
