This role involves hands-on mechanical and light electrical assembly supporting the production of brushless DC motors within a structured manufacturing environment. The position is pivotal in supporting the production of small drone engines.

• Assemble motor components including stators, rotors, housings, shafts, and bearings.
• Follow detailed work instructions, torque specifications, and standard operating processes.
• Perform light electrical assembly including wire soldering and connector installation.
• Operate basic assembly equipment such as presses, fixtures, and balancing equipment as trained.
• Conduct in-process inspections and basic quality checks.
• Accurately record production and traceability data.
• Identify and escalate defects or process deviations.
• Maintain 5S workstation standards and comply with all safety and PPE requirements.

• 1-3 years of electrical assembly or machine operation experience.
• For Lead Technician: 5+ years of experience.
• Electric motor or electromechanical assembly experience preferred.
• 1+ year soldering experience for Machine Operator.
• For Lead Technician: 5+ years of soldering experience.
• Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Understanding of mechanical assembly and electrical components.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Experience in ISO or quality-controlled manufacturing environments.
• Electric motor or electromechanical assembly experience.

The work environment is a fast-paced production floor on an assembly line in a conditioned warehouse. Tasks are repetitive and require manual dexterity. Safety equipment such as safety glasses and gloves are mandatory.

This is a Contract position based out of Tobyhanna, PA.

The pay range for this position is $23.74 - $26.02/hr.
