Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionThis role involves hands-on mechanical and light electrical assembly supporting the production of brushless DC motors within a structured manufacturing environment. The position is pivotal in supporting the production of small drone engines.
Responsibilities- Assemble motor components including stators, rotors, housings, shafts, and bearings.
- Follow detailed work instructions, torque specifications, and standard operating processes.
- Perform light electrical assembly including wire soldering and connector installation.
- Operate basic assembly equipment such as presses, fixtures, and balancing equipment as trained.
- Conduct in-process inspections and basic quality checks.
- Accurately record production and traceability data.
- Identify and escalate defects or process deviations.
- Maintain 5S workstation standards and comply with all safety and PPE requirements.
Essential Skills- 1-3 years of electrical assembly or machine operation experience.
- For Lead Technician: 5+ years of experience.
- Electric motor or electromechanical assembly experience preferred.
- 1+ year soldering experience for Machine Operator.
- For Lead Technician: 5+ years of soldering experience.
- Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
- Understanding of mechanical assembly and electrical components.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in ISO or quality-controlled manufacturing environments.
- Electric motor or electromechanical assembly experience.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a fast-paced production floor on an assembly line in a conditioned warehouse. Tasks are repetitive and require manual dexterity. Safety equipment such as safety glasses and gloves are mandatory.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tobyhanna, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.74 - $26.02/hr.
