Key Responsibilities:

As an intern on our AO Learning Team, you could be responsible to:

  • Assist with the deployment of various training and development programs
  • Support creation of content and materials to promote the sharing and early adoption of training programs and initiatives
  • Facilitate listening sessions and administer surveys to gather feedback and insights from employees
  • Research and benchmark to implement best practices across United’s learning programs
  • Assist with the analysis of program effectiveness, survey data, and ROI metrics
  • Coordinate logistics for program participants and external consultants/faculty
  • Aid in the development activities related to diversity and inclusion

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Pursuing an associate degree, bachelor’s degree or certification in I/O Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Learning/ Leadership Design or similar field
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze statistics
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Motivated, organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self- start and works well in teams and autonomously

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Pursuing a Master’s degree in I/O Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or similar field
  • Ability to apply instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Previous experience leading a team and with providing coaching and development
Additional Information:
  • Position will be hybrid based in Chicago, IL
  • Intern duration is 12 weeks over Summer 2025
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
