Position Summary
Works with the Quality Department, Supply Chain Department, and Production Department in confirming supplier non-conformances. Measures parts, quarantine and isolate parts when non-conformances are confirmed. Complete Non-conformance reports and communicates to supplier. Communicate with supplier on disposition of non-conforming product and completion of corrective action. Completes paperwork as assigned.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Processes supplier non-conforming material, being able to measure parts and compare against drawing or engineering standard.
Work with Quality Department to put non-conforming product on hold.
Works with vendors on disposition and issuing Non-conformance report. Negotiates with appropriate vendors for the return and/or replacement of rejected materials.
Works with Quality and Supply Chain Departments on supplier non-conformances.
Maintains good relationships with all vendor companies and their representatives.
Become familiar with quality and supply chain work instructions and processes regarding supplier quality.
Completes paperwork as required including non-conforming reports, quality dashboard, hold tags, etc.
Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
