The UK I&D Country Leader develops and deploys a strategy that is linked to the global aims and takes account of local cultures of the 25&43; sites. It is focused around 7 key areas of Inclusion; Gender, LGBTQIA&43;, International, Generational, Disability, Social & Culture and Neurodiversity. The UK team is supported by an engaged group of Diversity Business Champions embedded within our functions, passionate Employee Resource Groups, people-centric Policies and Programmes and our Learning Ecosystems.
What you will be doing:
During your Internship year, you will be based at the Airbus Commercial Filton Site (Bristol, UK) alongside the I&D Country Leader and will be working on activities that cover the full business scope across our divisions (Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defense and Space and Airbus Helicopters) in the UK. There will be an opportunity for some travel in this position.

Therefore as well as working on internal projects during your time with us, you will also be interacting with some external Corporate Partners.
During your year with the team, you can expect to:
- Contribute to the delivery of Inclusion projects that are directly linked to our Top Company Objectives which aim to increase the number, spread, seniority and engagement of under represented groups;
- Help to develop Employee Engagement programmes that enable Cross-Division Engagement and Sponsorship across business all levels;
- Engage with our Executive Team across our divisions on Awareness and Governance topics;
- Support diversity campaigns like IDAHOBIT, International Women’s Day and Disability Weeks.
You will be developing your project management, stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills in a creative and supportive environment.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or any other Social Science field, or equivalent;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, understand and engage with diverse audiences;
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
