Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
PAYROLL
- Collects and verify timekeeping information for all employees
- Calculates pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime
- Calculates bonuses and commissions when appropriate
- Manages and calculates taxes and deductions
- Updates paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
- Calculates last pay for separated employees
- Preparation and submission of Alphalist Report
- Deals with employee inquiries regarding payroll information
- Investigates and resolves any discrepancies in payroll
- Timely preparation and submission of mandatory government reports (ie. SSS, PHIC, HDMF, BIR)
- Coordination and submission of Payroll Entry reports to Finance.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Liaise with Healthcare & Life Insurance providers for updating of members (new application, cancellation and upgrade).
- Provide employee information and support in terms of application and processing of loans, benefit claims from different government agencies (ie. SSS, PHIC, HDMF, BIR)
RECRUITMENT & SELECTION
- Sourcing of Candidates via different job portals (ie. Airbus Careers, Linkedin, Jobstreet, etc.)
- Conducts initial interview assessment & administration of pre-assessment exam (if applicable)
- Preparation of employee job offer and employment contract management
- Facilitates newcomers’ onboarding process and coordinates requirements with different stakeholders.
Personal & Interpersonal Skills
- Familiar with general accounting principles
- Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and respecting confidentiality
- Computer savvy (word, excel, google sheet)
- Good numerical skills
- Good communication skills
- Dynamic, self-motivated
- Proactive, creative, meticulous, and resourceful
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong work ethic
Professional Development
- Degree in Accounting /Business Management or equivalent
- 2-3 yrs. extensive experience
