Cyber Security Systems Architect (d/f/m)
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours (30) and an adapted scope of tasks.
You will join our Avionics Systems Department within the design office! This department is dedicated to the design of avionics architectures for civil and military helicopters. Since helicopters must manage the security risk and its possible impact on flight safety and the mission, the avionics architecture must provide the means of protection and detection against potential cyber attacks. Also, your role as a cyber security architect will consist in defining and developing the cyber security component of the avionics architecture, in coordination with the helicopter avionics architect.
You will be required to exercise this activity in a civilian context with the aim of certification with EASA of a new helicopter or the approval of a modification on an existing helicopter or in a military context with the aim of cyber security certification of a helicopter with the designated certification authority.
Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Defining security activities over the entire life cycle of security products
Defining the product cyber security issue using an approach based on risk management and guarantee consistency and relevance throughout the project
Defining and validating the security architecture
Supporting from a security point of view the technical teams in charge of product development throughout the development cycle including testing
Presenting the activities carried out to ensure the management of the cyber security risk on the product as well as the proposed solutions and their maintenance in a safe condition to the approval body (EASA, approval entity, customer)
Desired skills and qualifications
Completed Degree (Bachelor, Master/Diploma) in Aerospace Engineering, IT or similar course of study
Several years of experience in the field of information technology and/or aeronautical
Knowledge desirable within operational and functional aspects of helicopter systems, Aircraft avionics architecture, Systems development process
Knowledge within methodological cyber security reference and regulatory
Ability to master the functional expression of security mechanisms (authentication, access control, rights management, signature, firewall, encryption, segregation, intrusion detection) and cyber security evaluation criteria (Common Criteria)
Language Skills: English and German - negotiation level, French - desirable
