Location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
Your regular place of work is Bremen. Within the scope of your duties, you will be deployed at the Airbus location Bremen after your start at Airbus Protect until the end of the operational requirements. After your return, you will be deployed at your regular place of work.

This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems.
Tasks and responsibilities
Review supplier documentation and applicable standards and specifications
Coordination and execution of special process audits (certification and surveillance) at internal workshops, as well as at supplier sites
Writing and release of detailed audit reports
Follow up and closure of action plans to mitigate non-conformities
Writing and steering of qualification (certification) programs, as well as cost estimations related to the certification (and monitoring) of special processes
Preparation of required documentation and presentation of work results
Required Qualification
The work task requires knowledge and skills, as can usually be achieved through a relevant, completed course of study with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar with focus on material properties and manufacturing processes. More than 4 years of standard study duration with a degree or completed vocational training with a corresponding, particularly extensive, subject-specific additional qualification. The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways.
Desired skills and competences
Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
Knowledge in metallic and/or non-metallic materials and associated processes, particularly in the domains of chemical processing of metallic components (e.g galvanic operations, coatings and paint, etc.), as well as assembly (e.g riveting, bonding, welding)
Industrial experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in the military domain
Experience in performing industrial and technical audits, particularly for special processes; ideally holding Airbus auditor approvals
Experience with ISO/EN 9100 and other quality management standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Language skills: Fluent in written and spoken German and English (at least B2)
Willingness to travel on business at home and abroad
