We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.
What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early March 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
Internship Job Description:This work will bring the applicant a view of the current challenges and activities developed in the Systems Installation Department for all Airbus commercial programs:
- Design, validation and verification of electrical and mechanical system installation components, optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production and assembly requirements while highest safety of the product is assured using appropriate design tools.
- Development and Validation of innovative design solutions answering complex challenges in a multifunctional context.
- Analyzing and comparing alternative technical proposals to select the optimum solutions.
- Coordinating and validating systems installation detail design activities.
- Supporting systems installation manufacturing, assembly and ground and flight tests.
- Supporting engineering plan definition and execution.
- Participating in the systems architecture definition with the architecture team.
- The main deliverable is Definition Dossier for Manufacturing and Assembly.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and tools and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
- Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders along the end to end process from the definition to the in service phase.
