Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Configuration Controller 3 based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provides a variety of basic clerical support to configuration management operations.
- Assists in documenting and tracking routine aspects of hardware and/or software development and modification.
- Makes changes to established master files of contractually required technical data.
- Assists in performing configuration management, data management or a combination.
- Maintains databases, assist in using basic engineering design drawings, parts lists, code or other items to create and document baselines; verifies authorization for and incorporates all changes or additions to them.
- Responsible for logging, filing and tracking all necessary drawings, documents, lists and various other items.
- Generates variety of standard reports.
- Tracks location of hardware/software in order to incorporate future changes and additions.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Familiar with Material Resource Planning (MRP) and/or SAP.
- Experience interpreting supply and demand, build structure, and bill of material (BOM).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience utilizing SAP as a Material Resource Planning Tool, specifically creating and Maintaining Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Experience working with Engineering Parts Lists.
- Experience interpreting engineering documents.
- Excellent computer skill (i.e., ISE, Microsoft, etc.).
Salary Range: $42,000 - $70,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
