Be part of a team that supports dozens of enineering labs and teams at the Minneapolis Honeywell Aerospace site. You will responsible for calibrating test instruments and developing test procedures and standards for highly complex aerospsce products.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform calibrations and measurements on electronic test instruments and equipment, traceable to the International System of Units (SI) using appropriate reference standards.
• Test and measurement equipment that will be supported in this role ranges from general-purpose benchtop test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Systems/Meters, Impedance Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Resistance Systems, Multimeters, Signal Generators, etc.) to custom built test consoles.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair test instruments and equipment
• Role will be responsible for devising new testing methods and calibration procedures, performing measurement uncertainty analysis, review calibrations, write technical and calibration reports, and specify / procure measurement equipment.
• Enter calibration results into calibration tracking / documentation systems
The salary range for this position is ($70,000 - $104,000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be a U.S. Person
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience working as a technician in a lab, field support, test or production environment OR previous experience working in a Metrology Lab.
• Basic knowledge of electrical/electronics principles and theory
WE VALUE
• Associates Degree in Electrical Technologies, Electronics, or related field.
• Prior work experiencing with principles and practices of electronic metrology/calibration
• Strong Math and Physics background
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office)
• Experience with DC, Low Frequency (AC) and RF/Microwave Calibrations.
• Existing understanding/familiarity with calibration tracking / documentation software systems.
• Understanding of electronics troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to work independently, while making sound technical decisions on objectives and assignments
• Experience with statistics and methods of assessing measurement uncertainty and measuring decision risk
• Military PMEL/TMDE/Metrology training preferred
