Position Summary
The Liaison Officer acts as the focal point for communications and coordination for the operational tasking of C4ISR operations representing the program to the TACON, OPCON and various customers. Monitor asset status and associated support from pre-departure through post-recovery for COCO assets. Know and monitor the details of each mission in which our assets participate. Be familiar with AOR specific baseline Special Instructions and appendices; review the Airspace Control Order, Air Tasking Order and applicable country specific airspace management briefings. Adheres to all safety & security policies and regulations; demonstrates quality work that is accurate, anticipatory, thorough & efficient.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Create Air Tasking Order submissions and review final product for accuracy.
- Request and review aviation weather support.
- Review Reconnaissance, Surveillance, & Target Acquisition Annex for mission tasking & coordinate changes.
- Plot relevant airspace restrictions and work areas using USG provided systems.
- Perform pre-mission planning by assembling target information, de-conflicting airspace, updating weather information and brief Combat Operations leadership.
- Track & report pre- & post-flight routine maintenance, status of sensors and equipment.
- Provide SME support to Air Operations Center throughout the mission.
- Prepare pre-mission, maintenance, and supporting reports.
- Coordinate with multiple USG entities ensuring safe and productive airborne missions.
- Produce and disseminate post-mission reports.
- Participate in maintenance, operations, and intelligence briefings.
- Professionally interact with and brief high-level law enforcement and government agencies.
- Consult with program aircrew, liaison officers and AOC leadership as required to plan and execute operations in a manner commensurate with operational capabilities.
- Understand system operation and employment tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to optimize system employment.
- Provide support to Program Management.

Minimum Requirements
Preferred Skills
- Must be able to complete qualification training for the LNO position.
- Current Secret Security Clearance and eligible for Top-Secret/SCI.
- Ability to multi-task in high-stress situations.
- Motivated individuals looking for professional challenges in the ISR Community.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with Windows Operating Systems.
- Desire to work with a small team of aviation and intelligence professionals, occasionally working extended hours, weekends, and early mornings/late nights.
- Experience with coordination between Aircrew and various USG levels of command, customers and their staffs.
- Knowledge and understanding of Special Instructions and appendices, Airspace Control Order, Air Tasking Order and RSTA Annex.
- Familiarization of US SOUTHCOM AOR.
- Experience or understanding route planning and Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS).
Preferred Experience, Certifications, and Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
- Intimate familiarity with Joint Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
- Multiple tours or assignments flying or supporting airborne ISR missions.
- Experience in a Combined Air Operations Center or equivalent environment.
Physical/Working Requirements
- US Secret security clearance and eligible for TS/SCI upgrade.
- International travel to customer locations may be required.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Subject must be able to obtain or maintain government eligibility requirements.
- Meet DoD Combatant Command entry requirements.
- Must be willing and able to work irregular hours and/or rotational shift.
- Must be willing and able to work in a predominately military environment.
