Position Summary

Position Summary:

Responsible for setup and adjustment of tooling, equipment, and production lines.  Performs minor repairs and maintenance duties.  Understands specifications and work orders.

•         Performs setups on machines, equipment, or production lines.•         Handles minor repairs and maintenance of equipment with a minimum of supervision.•         Understands specifications and work orders to assure that proper setup is achieved.•         Approves inspection reports as required.•         Basic fabrication as required.•         Responsible for monitoring department equipment for safety.  Informs supervision of unsafe conditions.•         Completes paperwork as required, including time, inspection, downtime, scrap, productivity, and production reports.

Must be in good standing with the company.

Preferred: High school education with 6 months of manufacturing experience.
