About the Opportunity:

Our client is renowned for their precision and innovation in the aerospace wind tunnel model field. They are seeking a meticulous and skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join their team. In this role, youll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects, crafting complex contoured components that make a genuine impact on aerospace technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute setups and operate CNC mills to machine precise, tight-tolerance parts for aerospace applications.
- Program CNC mills to optimize tool paths and machining strategies for complex contoured components.
- Select and apply appropriate tools, feeds, and speeds for machining aerospace-grade materials such as aluminum and titanium.
- Inspect and verify parts to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards using precision measuring instruments.
- Interpret and work from blueprints and engineering drawings, including GD&T specifications.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a CNC Mill Machinist in precision prototype or aerospace manufacturing.
- Proficient in CNC mill setup, operation, and programming for high-precision results.
- Strong understanding of tool selection, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies for specialized materials.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments for part verification.
- Able to read and apply engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required (per U.S. Export/ITAR regulations).
- DOD clearance required for this position.
