Air Transat is transforming its Maintenance Control Center.
As part of Air Transat world class Integrated Operation Center, MCC is the focal point of communication for all maintenance activities, it over sees all aspect of Maintenance Operation Control and is the representative of all the Technical Operations departments within the airline. MCC maintain liaison with production, engineering, planning, QA, flight ops to name a few.
Maintenance Control Center is using the finest of the technological systems to perform their duties and is in the process of incorporating more of these technological systems.
An experience with Maintenance Control offers you new challenges as maintenance technician, whether it is related to maintenance Control, maintenance planning, engineering, procedures, and regulations.
You will be able to develop you trouble shooting skills, your managing skills, your knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance systems, your knowledge of the processes and regulations. By being part of MCC you will participate in the transformation taking place.

- As a Supervisor, Maintenance Control Center (MCC) on a daily basis,
- You will perform technical dispatch on all aircraft using the information provided to you by the AMOS system and other sources of information, making sure that each aircraft is in compliance with the corporate policies and the regulation.
- You will review and approve all the MEL deferral proposed by maintenance technicians or pilots.
- You will review the fleet condition and keep all the IOC departments informed and making plans for return to optimal conditions.
- You will manage all AOG or delays making sure we have all the necessary resources to return the aircraft serviceable as soon as possible. You will keep the IOC and executive management informed of the plan and milestones.
- You will maintain a liaison with engineering, planning, QA, flight ops, or any other department related with the Aircraft Control
- You will produce reports on the related aircraft status. MEL, Cabin items, Watch items etc to keep executive management informed on the fleet conditions and operational KPI
- You will provide technical support to technicians or pilots.
- You will chair the daily technical Operation meeting to ensure a follow up on all deferred items and to plan a repair time.
