THE WORK

As a Subcontract Program Manager, you will oversee all cost, schedule, and technical performance aspects of our subcontractors and suppliers. You will be the lead of the Subcontract Management Team (SMT), ensuring that every facet of subcontract management – from request for proposal (RFP) to delivery – aligns with program objectives and performance goals. Your leadership will drive the collaboration between Subcontract Managers, Subcontract Administrators, and suppliers to ensure excellence in all areas.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the Subcontract Management Team (SMT) to develop and maintain a consistent business rhythm, ensuring that cost, schedule, and technical objectives are met.
• Oversee the end-to-end subcontracting process, including RFP activities, negotiations, awards, and performance management.
• Ensure subcontractor performance aligns with program specifications, including cost, schedule, quality, and earned value requirements.
• Manage and release critical path deliverables, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Subcontract Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).
• Lead programmatic and technical meetings with subcontractors, fostering clear communication and accountability.
• Identify and resolve any issues impacting subcontractor performance, ensuring continuous progress and delivery.

Basic Qualifications:
•7+ years experience in Subcontract Management, Program Management or Project Management
•Working knowledge of standard contract types.
•Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)
•Experience leading cross-functional teams
•Risk Management experience
Desired Skills:
•Experience with Commercial Acquisition Procedures (CAP) and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Policies (LMAP)
•Experienced in Subcontract Management
•Experienced in fixed price, cost reimbursable and time and material subcontracting
•Demonstrated ability to negotiate large and small scale subcontracts
•Well versed in Risk and Opportunity management
•Must be able to support travel to work potential subcontractor issues
•Proven flexibility to be able to multi-task and be able to support multiple complex initiatives at the same time
•Strong written and oral communications skills
•Experienced with the Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA)
•Experienced as Cost Account Manager (CAM)
•Detail and Teamwork oriented with demonstrated
organizational skills
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment
•Ability to work with all levels of management
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and
PowerPoint

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
