What you can expect as a Service Hub Strategy and Planning Manager at West Star:
The Service Hub Strategy and Planning Manager will be detail oriented and track all measurables as it relates to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the DAL, PBI, MDW, LAS and VNY Service Hubs. This position will be considered a subject matter expert as it relates to the SLA. All decisions made by the Service Hub Strategy and Planning Manager will be directed towards achieving our Unscheduled AOG Duration Metrics, Performance to Plan (P2P) Metrics and Deferred Maintenance Items (DMI) goals in the Service Hubs.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
- Responsible for providing detailed updates to the DAL, PBI, MDW, LAS and VNY Service Hub personnel every 4 hours.
- Review Remaining Over Night (RON) reports to identify additional Minimum Equipment List items (MEL’s) that can be cleared or parts that can be ordered to clear MEL’s.
- Plans at the beginning of every shift with the Supervisor/Lead and NetJets Site Manager to develop the best plan of action to safely RTS aircraft on time within the parameters of the SLA at the DAL, PBI, MDW, LAS and VNY Service
- Provide in detail all MEL’s not setup or unassigned from all work orders at the Service
- Provide in detail all P2P lines that are not met at the DAL, PBI, MDW, LAS and VNY Service Hubs.
- Provide in detail all OOS maintenance lines that are not met at the DAL, PBI, MDW, LAS and VNY Service
- High priority to setup and negotiate the correct maintenance lines with the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) relevant to the amount of work on the tally
- Acute attention to detail while updating MxNet and responding to email
- Schedule and coordinate manpower with the Supervisor/Lead to efficiently minimize unbilled labor hours.
- The ability to summarize in detail the gains and losses for all maintenance events in the DAL, PBI, MDW, LAS and VNY Service Hubs when on
- This position will provide updates on scheduling and process improvements to
Measures of Success:
- MxNet is monitored/updated to minimize questions from MCC and the NetJets Site
- Successful aircraft OOS metrics are
- Successful MEL clearing rate metrics are
- Successful with scheduling additional manpower to meet the expanding and contracting
- High success rate setting up the correct maintenance lines for AOG and line planning aircraft to allow the time to properly troubleshoot the squawk, order a part (if needed) and install the part in the correct timeframe.

What you’ll need to bring with you:
Your Education
A High school diploma or equivalent is required.
A&P license is required.
A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
Aircraft specific factory training is preferred.
Your Experience
Ability to report to work per assigned shift schedule to include overtime and weekend assignments.
Have at least 5 years of experience working as an A&P mechanic.
Experience with various models of corporate aircraft.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 products required.
