We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team!
The Regulatory Compliance Office (RCO) is part of P&W Group Quality and supports all P&W business units. The duties of the RCO include providing mentoring and guidance on commercial regulatory matters to P&W business units, as well as coordinating commercial regulatory matters with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), foreign National Aviation Authorities (NAA), and aviation industry trade groups. This office also participates in FAA/NAA rulemaking activities to assure minimum impact/maximum benefit to P&W/RTX.
What You Will Do:
This Regulatory Compliance Manager position reports to the Associate Director, QMS & Regulatory Compliance. The selected candidate will be assigned to work on commercial regulatory issues primarily involving the P&W manufacturing business (OEM), with support to the P&W aftermarket segment (MRO). Responsibilities include:
- Support the FAA/NAA liaison activity on various manufacturing/maintenance operation regulatory matters
- Assist P&W efforts in response to FAA/NAA investigations, audits, and escapes
- Provide guidance to P&W and RTX personnel on commercial aviation manufacturing and maintenance operation regulatory requirements
- Support FAA, customer, and internal audits
- Assist with the development of regulatory strategy and requirements
- Assist with the implementation of new FAA/NAA regulatory requirements
- Analyze potential regulatory requirements, which affect P&W/RTX policies/procedures, and preparing draft PW/RTX position responses to the appropriate regulatory agencies on those requirements
- Participate in CORE initiatives
- Provide analytical support in the collection of RCO metrics
- Provide support on ad hoc initiatives as necessary
- Ability to travel as required (~30)
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree and 8+ years of experience in Aviation, Space, and Defense, including experience in operations or quality; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Aviation, Space, and Defense, including experience in operations or quality
- US Citizenship is required, due to government contracts, programs and projects
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of FAA and other NAA regulatory requirements for manufacturing operations, and or repair stations
- Knowledge of the P&W Quality System
- Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence
- Strong project planning and management skills
- Demonstrated ability to energize and motivate high performing teams and the ability to influence organizations outside of this team
- Adaptable to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy within a diverse organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
