Overview of the Role:

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing subcontracted projects within the HVAC, Plumbing, and Process Piping sectors. You will be the primary liaison between clients, design engineers, architects, and the project team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Your expertise will drive efficient coordination of resources, optimize project delivery, and contribute significantly to the company’s success story.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the management of subcontracts, collaborating with clients and owner’s representatives.
• Coordinate with design engineers, architects, and key stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Oversee vendors and subcontractors, ensuring quality and compliance with project standards.
• Engage in the design and modification of mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Attend job meetings and provide regular progress reports to all involved parties.
• Collaborate with foremen, field staff, and other trades to ensure seamless on-site execution.
• Conduct estimating, budgeting, and cost analysis to maintain financial oversight.
• Prepare and present project proposals and seek new work opportunities.
• Manage change orders and adapt project schedules as needed.
• Allocate manpower resources and define timelines for new project schedules.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable, and handle monthly project reconciliations.
• Procure necessary equipment, large purchase orders, and subcontractor services.
• Handle pre-construction activities, including submittals and RFIs (Request for Information).
• Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting team growth and skill enhancement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing HVAC, Plumbing, and Process Piping projects.
• Strong ability to collaborate directly with clients, design engineers, and architects.
• Excellent management skills, especially in leading vendors and subcontractors.
• Proficient in the design and modification of mechanical/plumbing systems.
• Experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and scheduling.
• Ability to prepare project proposals and manage accounts.
