What are your contributions to the team?
- Structure the project and support the different departments in the implementation of project packages.
- Control project costs, manage risks and assess the team’s ability to meet deadlines.
- Report to management on the health of the project, preparation for acceleration and progress of mitigation plans.
- Coordinate a multifunctional team (Engineering, Methods, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Production, Quality, Tools) to establish the industrial strategy, production layout and build tomorrows performance.
- Coordinate project review and executive governance with the leadership team.
- Synthesize and document project strategies and solutions.
- Make strategic recommendations to support the company’s objectives.
- Understand the technical parameters and performance indicators of your project results (ex.: cycle time, response time, capacity, etc.)
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, engineering, business administration.
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- You have at least 2 years’ experience in project management or experience as a team supervisor.
- You have training and experience in Industrial Engineering and/or Continuous Improvement.
- You have a knack for simplifying information and are comfortable presenting to upper management.
- You are dynamic and work well in a team.
- You are a leader and are motivated by new challenges.
- You are patient, driven and curious.
- You are flexible in the face of changes in priorities and strategies that affect your project.
- You use MS Project and Excel
- You are bilingual (French and English spoken and written).
