Find your future with us. Boeing Government Supply Chain Services has an opportunity for a Project Manager (Project Management Specialist) supporting the F-15 platform. The Project Manager (Project Management Specialist) will lead and support a portfolio of Sustainment projects from their infancy in business case development and planning, through to implementation and execution phases. Day to day responsibilities include the operational/project aspects of a performance based logistics contract. This position is located with the Customer on Robin Air Force Base, GA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g.,PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).
- Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance mgmt & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives.
- Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements.
- Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
- Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.
- Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management.
- Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
- Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans.
- Provides input of team member performance to management, where appropriate.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post start is required.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- At least one year of experience functioning in a cross-functional environment.
- At least five years of experience preparing and delivering presentations or proposals to management and clients.
- Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).
- At least three years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement work experience and/or general Business Operations & Strategy.
- Experience leading and managing a team
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working in a Depot/MRO environment (Maint, Repair, & Overhaul).
- Experience with performance based logistics contracts.
- Experience with customer acquisition, budgeting, and testing processes.
- Experience developing new business proposal inputs.
- Experience dealing directly with government customers.
- Experience with Federal & DoD government services policies, guidance, and regulations.
