Project Management Specialist 3

$52.88 - $66.33 / Hourly

Responsibilities:
- Support our program scheduling initiatives related to a variety of areas within Electronic and Mechanical Systems.
- Work with teams to develop and integrate schedules within Open Plan Professional (OPP) as well as create visuals and other deliverables to support management reporting on program schedule status.
- Systems products span the airplane from nose to tail and include everything from the mechanical systems that actuate the flaps to the electronic systems that allow pilots to communicate with ground crews.
- Work with engineers and suppliers across the world to create schedules that integrate with other areas of the airplane as well as external stakeholders like customers and regulators, currently, the 777-9 has begun flight testing and is working toward achieving future levels of accreditation on the path to entering service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree combined with 6 + years of relevant work experience; or Masters Degree combined with 4 + years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of integrated scheduling or project management experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Business Operations or Project/Program Management role
- 3+ years of experience managing schedules or projects using standard project management tools (such as OPP or MS Project)
- Ability to work with a diverse, cross-functional team in a multifacted work environment that includes managing multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft
- PowerPoint and Excel
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Open Plan Professional
- Experience with Milestones Professional
- Prior professional experience at Boeing or at an aerospace company
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
- Experience communicating with employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership
