What You Will Do:
The Operations Supervisor, AWW oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management) and
manages the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.
Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
Manages employee performance, development and training / skills matrix to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations.
Practice and Maintain 5S standards in the workplace; ensures all quality related items are complete and documented to meet established quality standards; ensure strict adherence to all Health & Safety, Ethics, Compliance, and Quality protocols
Monitors manufacturing production performance to business KPI’s for Safety, People, Quality, Delivery and cost; drive a Continuous improvement culture across the operations workforce focusing on process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations is meeting company targets.
Supports scheduling initiatives so that production schedules are completed in line with customer demand
Supports material management processes in coordinating activities for materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure materials availability is in line with production schedules
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree and 5 or more years experience in an engineering, machining, manufacturing, operations management or quality environment or an Associates degree and 7 or more years experience in an engineering, machining, manufacturing, operations management or quality environment
In absence of a degree, 9 or more years experience in an engineering, machining, manufacturing, operations management or quality environment
Prior experience in a leadership role and experience interacting effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
