Operations Project Manager (OPM) is responsible for execution of assigned projects from a Hardware planning, manufacturing, assembly, and installation aspect. The OPM manages, monitors and reports the project production progress and performanceu037E Identifies resolves, and escalates project issues and risks to meet project deliverables.u202F The OPM will applyu202Findependent judgment and creativity in the performance of tasks that may be broad in scope.u202F The OPM interfaces/coordinates with: Production, Program Management, Finance, Hardware Engineering, Procurement/Sub-Contracts, Material Planning, Production Planning, Quality Assurance and Test Engineering to insure hardware project execution success.u202F

Ensure a smooth transition between design, production, in-house testing and Tear down, pack and ship (TDPS).
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bacheloru2019s or Technical College Degree with 6 years of related experience in aerospace or an equivalent combination of technical education related to electronics, electro-mechanical, computer, aviation, or simulation technology.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Security Responsibilities
Must complyu202Fwith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.u202F Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.u202F All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Work is performed in an environment where irritants such as noise from telephones, temperature and lighting variations may exist, but there is little chance of injury, accident or occupational health problems.
Moderate to high levels of stress, associated with technical, schedule, and customer issues are to be expected with this position.
