Pratt & Whitney Auto Air (PWAA) is looking for a Military Engines Program Manager to join our growing Transformation team. As part of this team, the Military Engines Program Manager will help manage New Product Introduction (NPI) for F135 components to be produced in PWAA Plant 5 along with other transformation activities. Be part of a growing site to position long-term development of next generation aerospace hardware.
What You Will Do:
Lead implementation and iteration of NPI process deployment to DoD standards and requirements (DCMA etc.) for military hardware
Support transformation team in MRL (manufacturing readiness level) activities for aerospace hardware
Interface with program office on all related actions to be production approved
Support the successful development and delivery of a major component(s); coordinate Status / Progress / Action Items
Oversee schedule, deliverables, risk/opportunity, cost, and change management
Flexibility with schedule and the ability to occasionally support extended hours
Domestic travel dependent on business needs of approximately 10
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree and 8 or more years experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, program/project management or related environment OR a Masters degree and 5 or more years experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, program/project management or related environment
Demonstrated program/project management experience
Understanding and familiarity with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Experience working with Military Engine components
Knowledge of DoD standards and requirements
MS Office suite with strong skills in PowerPoint, Project and Excel
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
Security clearance for military programs a plus but not required
Familiarity and experience with DCMA
Experience with MRL processes and standards
CORE Champion level

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
