Raytheon’s Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) is seeking a Material Program Manager. This role will lead the EODAS Supply Chain Team and will report to the OSC Associate Director of Global Air force. This individual will need to be a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills and be directly accountable for ensuring overall investment strategy success and supplier performance. This is a Manager role, and you must be able to exert influence and shape the overall objectives and long-range investment goals of the EOIRS product line. We’re looking for a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management.
The Senior Manager role serves as the leader for program’s supply chain activities and is the liaison between the Program Manager(s), Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other functional leads, and the Supply Chain organization. You are also responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of all program investment material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives. The ideal candidate will have financial, contracting, and negotiating experience and have had project management responsibilities including, but not limited to Risk and Opportunity management, briefing in leadership forums, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
This is an onsite position in our McKinney, TX location.
What You Will do
- Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution.
- Implement key performance indicators internally and with our supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and ensure adherence to the plan. Work closely with Operations, Planning and Finance functions to optimize planning and supply chain cycle to meet development requirements.
- Review and assess request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
- Support and engage with various program mangers across the portfolio.
- Solve complex supply chain issues and serve as the CAM for the EODAS material content.
- Lead projects to enhance Supply Chain performance and continuous improvement.
- Set objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of developmental results.
- Explain policies, practices, and procedures and may influence others.
- Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Lead a team of 2-3 MPMs.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
- Experience with supply chain or supplier/vendor management
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We prefer
- Experience as a Materials Program Manager, Planner or related material management duties.
- Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering Related Subject preferred.
- Prior ERP work experience, SAP highly preferred.
- Experience managing employees or leading teams.
- Experience working with internal factories.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Project management experience is a strong plus.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
