To lead Cayman Airways’digital commerce initiatives and spanet research functions within theCommercial Department, with a focus on optimizing e-business platforms,managing data analytics and business intelligence, and delivering insights thatsupport strategic planning, revenue growth, and enhanced customer engagement.This role is responsible for end-to-end strategic planning and operationalexecution of Cayman Airways’ eBusiness strategy and spanet researchinitiatives, working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Manage the development and performance of all e-business platforms, including our corporate website, mobile apps, and online booking systems. Lead and manage end-to-end website strategy development and day-to-day operational execution. |
Growing online commercial results in alignment with top and bottom-line goals, ensuring e-Business is a strong contributor toward achieving overall company revenue projections. |
Develop and maintain a comprehensive digital web strategy by prioritizing a product backlog and leading digital initiatives from concept through execution. |
Lead the definition of consumer digital experiences through spanet research and user analysis. Execute functional requirements gathering and documentation, producing high-level mock-ups and a clear digital vision. |
Own the content management system, responsible for regular website content updates, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with brand standards. |
Contribute analytical rigor in collaboration with data analysis and financial systems teams to identify and execute strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. Provide technical oversight and support for the management and optimization of the CRM platform. |
Lead and conduct spanet research efforts including customer surveys, competitive bench-spaning, and trend monitoring to inform strategic decisions. Analyze competitor performance and seasonal trends and recommend tactical responses. |
Produce regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards for senior leadership, including performance analysis of digital sales channels, point-of-sale trends, passenger demographics, geographic heat maps, and customer behavior insights. Collaborate with Finance to align analytics with financial reporting and planning. |
RequirementsQualifications,Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’sDegree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a relatedfield.
7–10years’ experience in digital commerce, data analytics, or spanet research.
In-depthknowledge of: JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS coding, third-party integrations,content management systems. Google Tag Manager certification is advantageous.
Proficiencyin SQL and experience querying and visualizing data.
Experiencewith CRM systems, including technical oversight and strategy alignment.
Stronginterpersonal and communication skills; confident working across all levels ofmanagement.
Demonstratedability to influence stakeholders and drive performance.
Excellentorganizational and presentation skills.
