Position Summary
The Contract Line Maintenance Manager (International) reports to the General Manager Contract Line Maintenance and has responsibility for international outsourced maintenance support activities on JetBlue Airways aircraft. The Contract Line Maintenance Manager (International) is the focal point for Technical Operations for the local operational groups which includes Operations, and Airports.
Essential Responsibilities
- Liaisons with JetBlue Maintenance Control to provide maintenance support at the non-JetBlue maintenance cities
- Conducts initial audits to see if maintenance providers meet the criteria to support JetBlue aircraft
- Performs site visits of JetBlue’s out sourced line maintenance operation
- Initiates MX-55 and Change Management for the new providers
- Initiates new business partner (BP) contract talks and completes the maintenance service agreement (MSA)
- Initiates the Comply 365 and BP Docs access requirements for business partners
- Approves contract line maintenance invoices
- Develops trends on maintenance spend
- Develops and maintains the contract line maintenance budget
- Ensures the management of safety risks and security threats to aircraft operations
- Ensures the contract BP has the necessary equipment and tooling to carry out the maintenance either with own equipment or JetBlue supplied equipment
- Takes a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement
- Other duties as assigned
