What are your contributions to the team?
• Plan, organize, motivate, and supervise the activities of a dozen of salaried employees of the Methods group
• Exercise your leadership respecting the vision and values of Bombardier Aviation
• Assume the management responsibilities of your team, finance, and the achievement of your team`s objectives
• Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process
• Coach your team to develop talent within the organization
• Work closely with various groups such as Engineering, Program, Production, Logistic, Purchasing and Quality to optimize change management, problem solving, and improve product flow
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience
- You hold a university degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college degree with significant experience in Methods
- You possess at least four (4) years of experience in the domain of manufacturing aviation
- You possess excellent management aptitudes
- You have a solid knowledge in lean manufacturing
- You have good judgment and a great sense of initiative
- You are flexible, results oriented, and at ease with tight deadlines
- You are highly motivated, a team player able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- You speak and write fluently in French and English and have aptitudes for efficient communication
- You have experience in a Green and Completion environment is a benefit
