Job Summary
Responsible for the daily execution of specific tasks or projects within moderately large and complex programs to support Integrated Supply Chain in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements to assure that cost, schedules and performance goals are met
- Lead all meetings and the integrated product team (kick-off through project close)
- Responsible for the daily execution of specific tasks or projects within a moderately large/complex program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines
- Manage operations to ensure schedules are met and deliverables meet quality standards
- Organize project and task workloads and selects individuals most qualified for specific projects
- Contribute to the client relationship
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Sourcing for the following component categories:
- Electronics (CCAs, Harnesses, Small Assembly)
- Machined Parts (Weldments, machining, outside processes)
Job Responsibilities Part II
Experience with:
- Key customer contracts (BPMI, Honeywell and Naval suppliers)
- Outsourcing of components (i.e. Wire harness assemblies, cable and small assembly)
- Alternate Sourcing strategies (exit, grow, maintain) in conjunction with the ISC steering committee
- Long term agreement negotiations, relationship building with critical suppliers
- Large bid negotiation and capture plan support
- Value analysis investigations
- Supplier production readiness review and front end supplier development
- On time delivery performance management
- Collaboration with engineering on development projects
- EAC material variance mitigation
- Line of balance management for critical deliveries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with technical training and 5+ years functional or program management experience (or equivalent related education and experience)
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
