Maintenance & HSE Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance & HSE Manager to join a complex, multi-site operational environment. This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for driving maintenance strategy, facilities management and Health, Safety & Environmental performance across multiple locations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across buildings, plant, infrastructure and utilities.

• Lead maintenance and asset management activities across multiple operational sites

• Develop and implement planned, preventative and reactive maintenance strategies

• Oversee facilities and infrastructure management, ensuring sites remain compliant and fit for purpose

• Drive Health, Safety & Environmental performance and promote a strong safety culture

• Manage contractors, service providers and maintenance teams

• Support audits, compliance activities and risk management processes

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency and operational resilience

• Manage maintenance and facilities budgets

• Proven experience within Maintenance, Facilities, Engineering or Asset Management leadership roles

• Strong understanding of HSE legislation and compliance within operational or manufacturing environments

• Experience managing contractors and multi-disciplinary teams

• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills

• Experience within regulated engineering, manufacturing, defence, marine, industrial or operational environments would be advantageous

• NEBOSH qualification desirable
