Through DoD SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes, Sierra Nevada Corporation provides internships to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. As a Collection Manager, you will assess information, provide judgments, and make recommendations to support the tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination process. You will help design, deploy, and refine new commercial and government intelligence collection capabilities in support of U.S. and allied military, intelligence, and commercial partners. You will serve as a trusted advisor and liaison to key government and commercial partners for systems integration, testing, evaluation, and performance. You will leverage your military intelligence experience to help SNC develop and deploy novel solutions for some of the most challenging national security problems.
Responsibilities include:
•Hybrid work is possible in this role, but you will also have the opportunity to work onsite and alongside clients in small, highly proficient teams developing novel solutions for emerging issues.
•You will apply your critical thinking and analytic techniques to provide tailored solutions to customers with complex, sensitive issues and research requirements.
•You will develop new tools and refine existing tools through your own subject matter expertise and engagement with customers.
•You will identify and develop new technical and analytical techniques and processes to refine existing workflows and develop new analytic capabilities.
•You will write and produce high-quality intelligence products for a range of technical and non-technical audiences.
•You will engage with US government, international government, and corporate partners and customers to deliver intelligence briefings, training, and capability presentations.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. Must-haves:
- Currently serving as active-duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
- Bachelors degree in a related field of study and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
◦ A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
◦ Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education - US Citizen
- 4+ years of related experience in intelligence, with at least 2+ years of collection management experience in GEOINT and/or SIGINT (all-source preferred)
- Experience in tasking, collection, processing, and dissemination activities. All-source experience preferred, either SIGINT or GEOINT experience required.
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
- Formal intelligence training in a military or USGOV program
- Understanding of US military intelligence and US Intelligence Community doctrine
- Strong background with use of exploitation, data visualization, and mapping/GIS tools
- Experience with space operations, space systems, and satellite operations
- Experience or interest in SQL, Python, and other data science languages and tools
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior level audiences via visual, written, and oral presentations
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility preferred
