Job Title: CASS Program Manager
Department: Corporate Office
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Director of Maintenance
Position Summary:
The manager of the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) is directly responsible for the Air Carrier’s approved CASS program as required by the Company’s General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and CASS Manual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the CASS Program.
- Perform required internal and external audits as required by the CASS Program.
- Delegate the auditing functions when necessary to qualified personnel.
- Supervise CASS auditors.
- Make recommendations for Approved Vendor list addition/deletion based on audit assessment.
- Review audits, compile data for root cause analysis, comprehensive fix, and administer follow up audits to confirm the comprehensive fix was successful.
- Maintain records of all audits in accordance with General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System Manual (CASS) policies and procedures.
- Conduct the required quarterly CASS meetings per the CASS manual.
- Obtain the required CASS data and present it to the CASS committee.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements, system enhancements, and training needs based on audit findings.
- Monitor corrective actions: Track and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions resulting from audit findings or safety recommendation.
- Other duties as assigned by the DOM.
Requirements:
- Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required
- Familiar with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (Parts 43, 91, and 135).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel and power point).
- Working knowledge of a Maintenance Tracking Sytem such as TotalFBO software, Trax, WinAir, CAMP, Flightdocs, etc.
- The ideal candidate will have previous and strong skills dealing with customer/vendor relations.
Qualifications:
Education
- High School diploma or GED
Experience
- At least five (5) years previous CASS Manager and/or Quality Control/Assurance experience in aircraft maintenance.
Travel:
- This position requires frequent travel up which may be up to 30-35.
Miscellaneous Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screen as required by airline regulations and company policies.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1968.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Computer, office equipment, phone skills.
- Ability to work within a 24/7 operation, including holidays.
- Must be able to meet all physical requirements related to aircraft weight limitations before and during employment.
