Key Responsibilities: The Assistant Manager of Inflight Administration role will serve as a critical role in the efficiency of the Flight Attendant Support Team (FAST). They will be primary point of contact with our offshore service center team and ensure that they meet the needs of United’s Flight Attendants. The Assistant Manager will be the subject matter expert on FAST’s business and will use that knowledge to maintain our operating procedures. They will also serve as coach and mentor to more junior members of the FAST team.
- Provide oversight and management of offshore vendor, including setup of new agents, training throughput and efficiency, and performance against operational and quality goals
- Maintain and execute FAST training portfolio for offshore vendor and CSC teams. Ensure team’s Knowledge Base is relevant, accurate and current
- Take a lead role in executing large-scale projects and investigations
- Lead, coach, and mentor junior members of the FAST team
- Serve as subject matter expert on FAST policies and procedures. Participate in escalations, adjustments, and other work as the need arises.

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Business, Management, Operations or Finance
- 2 - 3 years of previous Inflight experience or equivalent work experience
- 2 - 3 experience influencing a team or vendor with strong Inflight knowledge of processes and procedures
- Extensive knowledge of Flight Attendant Support Team (FAST) policies and procedures
- Extensive knowledge of United & AFAs JCBA
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
