To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor in our Maintenance Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to supervise all Aircraft Parts/Stores activities and functions. This position will report to the Manager, Aircraft Parts.
Essential Duties:
Ensure efficient utilization of assigned personnel
Monitor quality and quantity of production and guarantee cleanliness of facilities
Provide training and maintain documentation; confirm employee qualifications
Ensure compliance with all safety regulation
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of company data programs and aviation terminology
Trained in HAZMAT shipping and handling
Demonstrate supervisory ability and technical knowledge required to perform the duties of this assignment
Knowledge of accounting procedures as it relates to materials management
Knowledge of appropriate sections of the Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual, including applicable provisions of CFR’s
Preferred Qualifications:
Work Environment:
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
Airport ramp/warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
All shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
Physical Requirements:
Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance from co-workers or tools
