Responsibilities: Value Fund Program Development & Management
Responsible for the annual review, launch, and ongoing management of the Agency and Corporate Value Fund programs and system, supporting Agencies and Corporations with access to funds to waive certain fare conditions or to correct agent errors. Responsible for the establishment of allocation methodology, program parameters, redemption fulfillment, end user support documentation, and the production of post audit reporting.Responsible for all Value Fund inquiries from Global Sales and external users. Engage with other branches and Partner Airlines with regards to the terms and conditions applicable to the Value Fund programs and its alignment with Joint Venture Partners and corporate objectives. Includes identifying the program changes needed, quantifying the impact of these changes, tracking of program utilization, and managing the approvals required to launch. Responsible for managing all aspects of the Account Management Discretionary Fund, a Value Fund program for internal use.
B2B AC Agent booking site (aircanada.com/agents)Verify and validate Agency access requests to aircanada.com/agents.Manage fraudulent activities booked through Air Canada’s agency website. Work with Finance and the Fraud team to develop preventative measures to reduce risk and repeat occurrences.
TaxationResponsible to compile, validate and produce taxable benefits reporting for the AC Taxation department, related to taxable resources provided Point of Sales Canada.
QualificationsUniversity degree & 3+ years of relevant work experienceAirline experience essentialExperience with a Global Distribution System, or Altea Able to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks and changing prioritiesProven organizational, planning skillsExcellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) Strong analytical skillsStrong Microsoft Office skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential
