Description:Lockheed Martin’s SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking an UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) Technician to join the SOF GLSS team in Lexington, KY. The candidate will perform classified UAS Technician duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups and must have a working knowledge of UAS components.
What You Will Be Doing
As the UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Performs non-standardized engineering assignments, independently
• Constructs components, subunits, or simple models, adapts standard equipment, and troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions
• Follows scientific diagrams to construct and package simple devices and subunits of equipment
• Conducts various tests and experiments, modifying setups and procedures as needed
• Records test data, using judgment in measurement and data selection
• Extracts and compiles engineering data, identifying and correcting errors
• Assists in design modification, compiling and analyzing data, recognizing inconsistencies and seeking sources to clarify information.

-Military aviation maintenance experience
-Aviation cyclic maintenance experience
-Avionics/Electrical background

-Be able to work in an environment with minimal supervision and direction.
-Strong ability to perform web-based and Technical Manual-driven research

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
