Contract Position

Responsibilities:
- Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment and integrated systems at customer or field locations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, providing technical solutions and repairs to ensure serviceable hardware is returned to the customer promptly.
- Perform depot-level repairs, rework, modifications, and refurbishments on system components.
- Operate test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers, waveform generators) to conduct fault isolation using engineering drawings and AC/DC theory.
- Collaborate with sustainment engineers on troubleshooting and repairs, utilizing wiring diagrams, software programs, and depot procedures.
- Perform limited supply duties, such as loading/unloading equipment, and ensure effective communication with customers.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related discipline, or 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Solder certification (J-STD-001) for cable and harness repairs.
- Experience troubleshooting and fault isolation using general purpose or automated test equipment.
- Familiarity with industrial standards, military specifications, and industry processes.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds and work with hazardous materials, including mixing and weighing chemicals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to properly safety-wire assemblies and connectors.
Desired Skills:
- Additional solder certification to IPC-7711/IPC-7721.
- Experience with electro-optical components and systems, as well as associated test equipment.
